Although I've already read the first book, I'm going to use this month to finally read book three, which has been sitting on my shelf for months -- much to the horror of people such as those who devoured book five within seconds of it being released this summer.

I'm looking forward to the discussion about the first book, though, especially since we now have the film and later books to compare it to. And I can't wait to dissect the gender roles in it.

I'm so excited to read it again. When I first read it, my 2 youngest children were too young to understand it very well. Now they are 9 and 5 and I think we will be reading it for our storytime. I can't wait to share it with them!
