October Reading

Hey, gang. Here is a suggestion for the October reading.

Descent into Hell by Charles Williams. He was a friend of CS Lewis. It is a curious little book and can tend to be a little preachy. But it is a great example of its genre (a popular one for its time): the spiritual shocker. It was suggested to me by a professor at my seminary. Who is game?

I thought we were going to read Confederacy of Dunces. Change your mind, Tripp?

I was all gung ho for a re-read of Confederacy of Dunces.

Um...I am confused. I was not the one who wanted to do confederacy. That was someone else...really!

hey...I figgered it out. Jeff was gonna do dunces...but aparently moved onward.

Right? Anyone? Help.

Man, can you tell how tired I am? I also shouldn't be up this late on a school night, but having to write three papers in two weeks is too much.

Okay. Confederacy for August. Tripp, are we a go on Descent for October?

Yes, Descent Into Hell in October...appropriate Halloween reading?

Yeah, I'm up for Descent, it looks interesting. And you're right, Tripp, Dunces is my pick for August. Cool? Cool.
