Well, I think it is cool book. I like the quasi-Victorian mysticism. You? You mentioned being a little confused by the whole thing. What specifically was confusing?

Overall, I thought the book was just okay. I mostly found it very dry, but I have a feeling I didn't understand it's connection to anything other than a bunch of fainting Victorians trying to put on a play. There was a dead guy in it, a doppelganger, a succubus (I think), and Adela thought she saw people coming up out of graves. But where's the mysticism? It might have gone totally over my head.
