A Good Cause

Whether or not we believed in this war or not is irrelevant. Our troops must be supported, especially those who have no one who can support them.

If you are interested in supporting soldiers fighting the war, you can donate books, or dvd's, anything to entertain them.

I just read a really good book about a woman soldier in Desert Storm. It sure opened my eyes about what our troops are going through over there and what conditions are like. It was an easy read - could hardly put it down. Didn't have a lot of war stuff, just what it was like to live in such places with some romance in it too! Just an all around good read I found it on amazon.com - Diary from the Desert by Mary E. Stabe

interesting sue,

nonetheless,
the link was to a 'site that lists soldiers who need volunteers to mail them books or cards or anything. there's even a category for soldiers who haven't gotten any mail or little mail.

i hope you all at least take a look at it.
