December's Selection

Hi, I just wanted to make a post informing you about my selection for December: Christopher Moore's The Stupidest Angel: A Heartwarming Tale of Christmas Terror. It's hardcover, but still the same price as a paperback (unless you get it from Amazon- only ten dollars!). It'll be a nice, light holiday read...

Thanks, Amy! It looks like a fun holiday read.

FYI, all. This discussion will start on December 20th.

cool timing with THe Stupidest Angel

i walked past my university's book store and saw a thing up on Christopher Moore--like a newsletter from C.M. himself

thought that was interesting and unexpected

he says in the newsletter how he took time off from writing to live a little by taking up odd jobs.

he recommneded to other authors to do the same.

Christopher Moore seems to be everywhere for me right now. First, I used to work with a guy named Chris Moore, so now I find myself remembering him. And, my mother asked me to pick up a book called In Other Words by Christopher J. Moore.

It's a common name, but now I'm seeing it all over the place.
