Ready For Tomorrow?

Although I haven't been around much recently to do anything around here (I have a good excuse. Honest!), I hope everyone has read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. First of all, it's delightful. And, the new movie by Tim Burton and starring Johnny Depp will be out soon. I'm looking forward to seeing the remake of one of my childhood favorites.

If you can believe it, I actually read this one (several times). I'll be here when the discussion starts, so I hope to have someone to talk to. :)

Oh, and if anyone wants to volunteer for July, August, etc., please let me know.

I'd like to volunteer for August, if I could. I have a book in mind: The Ghost Writer by John Harwood (2004).

mmmmm chocolate! AND Johnny Depp. That is one deadly, delicious combination. I'm drooling on myself.

Off topic totally, and especially since we always do fiction: but if anyone enjoys fiercely funny memoirs - Hypocrite in a Pouffy White Dress by Susan Jane Gilman was the highlight of my weekend. EXCELLENT.

Okay, Daisy, you've got it. Give me a few days to do some site maintenance and I'll send you an e-mail.

I have about a billion e-mails from other people wanting to join, too. I'll get around to responding to all of them one of these days.

Awesome.

I could do July, actually, if no one else has volunteered. I was thinking I couldn't do July, but I can.
