Finally!

I am hoping everyone got a chance to jump right into this month's selection of One For the Money by Janet Evanovich. A neighbor had recommended this book to me a couple years ago and, once I finished it, I just had to read them all.

I look forward to starting our discussion on the 19th. See you then!

I've got boatloads of stuff on my reading list already but I remember you folks talking about her books last month...is "One for the money" her first book? If not, with which one should I start?

I have read them all. What's not to like about Stephanie Plum and the cast of characters that surrounds her. I think that Grandma is my favorite.

I read in the NYTimes this weekend that the series has been optioned for a movie and Reese Witherspoon is considering the part of Stephanie Plum. Can't wait to see SP in action. She's so fiesty and gets herself into such unusual situations that she'll make a great movie character.

She might do well- but I pictured Stephanie as a tall brunette...I'm still looking forward to the movie!

I received my copy in the mail sometime last week so I'm eager to finish it! I think I'll enjoy this one a ton!

Kate--I pictured her as a brunette too, although a short one. I don't know if Reese witherspoon is the right actress for the role, but i really liked Stephanie as a character. I meant her when i said she's fiesty, etc. i want to read the sequel now.

sorry for the lower case problems in my posts...having a problem with posting.

I tried very hard to get this one read, but September is a very busy month for university libraries. I have read the TTW and am ready for next months discussion!

I started the book today, and since it's pretty short and has huge font (Gotta love the ease on the eyes...P-Chem books are printed in like size 6...) I'll be done by Monday. I'm LOVING it btw.

Just discovered bookblog and this is a riot.
The book will no doubt make one funny movie.
I must read more!
Great to find a book club on line!!!

I read "One for the Money" a long time ago and it made me an instant fan of Janet. I even subscribe to her newsletter. I think my two fav characters are Grandma Mazur and Lulu. The sexual tension, that surrounds Stephanie and Joe is so intense. Their relationship is real and could be the couple next door. I love these books.
